Joseph commenced his real estate career following on from a fifteen year stretch of success in business, and he was able to secure his first deal within a short period which resulted in the sale of a package of three medical based assets to a fund group. Further to medical, Joseph was also well entrenched in the childcare sector, which included successfully transacting on North Harbour’s first childcare site, as well as advising and working with other developers in securing pre-commitments from operators.
The initial foray into medical and childcare soon saw Joseph shift to tourism and hospitality, which coincided with his own knowledge of the sector through early years spent working in pubs, nightclubs and liquor retail, as well as his families strong roots of pub investment and ownership in managed venues. He has had involvement in the sale of several regional pub assets, as well as much larger investment type assets that were tenanted by some of the largest hotel groups in Australia. Several regional trips to northern Queensland has also garnered a large presence in these areas through motel and caravan park owners who Joseph speaks to regularly, along with a broad list of motivated buyers and groups who the entire Savills team enjoy close relationships with.
Joseph has quickly gained respect from clients and buyers alike who appreciate his loyalty and more importantly, availability to discuss progress and feedback from on and off-market campaigns that he is involved in. He proudly comes from a successful heritage, with a father who enjoyed a long and prosperous career in corporate litigation, and an extended family with success in business, development and investment portfolio management.
