Jones Lang LaSalle (Thailand) Limited’s Hotels & Hospitality Group (“JLL”) has been retained by Golden Service Apartment Limited (the “Owner”) on a sole and exclusive basis to offer for sale Suntara Serviced Apartment (the “Property” or “Suntara”), a new freehold serviced apartment in the heart of Sri Racha’s city centre. Due to be completed in the 2nd half of 2015, the Japanese-style Property is eligible for Board of Investment (BOI) privilege, which allows 100% foreign ownership.
Extending over 42 rai (approximately 16 acres), Suntara is a key component of Golden City Sri Racha, a major mixed-use development designed to cater to more than 15,000 Japanese expatriates who work in nearby industrial estates. Once completed, Golden City Sri Racha will include the Japanese-native AEON Town Sri Racha, MaxValu supermarket, and more than 130 shophouses as well as a number of condominiums and serviced apartments, making it one of the most prominent developments in Sri Racha city centre.
Situated in Chonburi Province on Thailand’s eastern seaboard, Sri Racha offers easy access to international airports and sea ports. In addition to being just a short 75-minute drive away from Bangkok, the coastal town is also in close proximity to the popular beach resort town of Pattaya. Sri Racha is also a key industrial area surrounded by numerous industrial estates. After the eastern seaboard remained unaffected by the Great Flood in 2011, there was a massive migration of factories and manufacturing facilities from the northern corridor of Bangkok to this area.
